
About Ajarn Dooney
Born into a well-established Irish boxing family, Sean was schooled from an early age in boxing and Irish Stick Fighting. He is a former European Welterweight Muay Thai Boxing Champion, Sports Science lecturer, National Technical Coach for the GB Team and was the Director of Education at the Institute of Thai Arts and Culture.
Since retiring from competition, Sean has founded and run several Muay Thai schools in the UK and elsewhere in Europe, with a total of 30 British, European and World Titles.
In 2006 Sean accepted the invitation from the Institute of Thai Arts and Culture to be awarded the title of Ajarn (Master|) in Thai Arts including Healing and Meditation. In 2007 he was awarded a second title of Ajarn by the World Muay Boran Federation and invited to Thailand to receive this highly prestigious title rarely awarded to a Non-Thai National. Sean is the only Westerner to be awarded the title of Ajarn for both Thai Martial Arts and Thai Culture.
He was the personal student of Grand Master Narong for 14 years until the GM returned to Thailand. Sean has since trained under many Masters and Gurus, both from Thailand and India
A serious back injury during Sean's competition days, cemented his lifelong interest in Yoga and Meditation. He continues to teach Kundalini, Tantric and Thai Healing.

About Lee Dooney
After a career in education and research in both the USA and UK, Lee begin her martial and healing arts journey at the tender age of 62 under the guidance of Ajarn Sean.
Would you rather be a Gardener in a War or a Warrior in a Garden?
Lee has chosen the Path of a Warrior. In the past 8 years she has trained in Muay Thai and Krabi Krabong (Thai Weapons System) to include staff, single and double swords, knife and karambit. Additionally she has studied Reusi Dat Ton (Thai Hermit Self-Healing Yoga) and Thai Sacred Dancing in preparation for Healing. She has been awarded the rank of 9th Khan by the International Muay Thai Federation.
Recently, Lee has collaborated with Ajarn Sean in the development of Dooney Irish Stick Course 101, Self-Protection Against Knife Crime, the Garden Sessions and is keen to promote the formation of local and international factions to bring the training to the public.
Now, at 70, she has begun her personal Yoga journey under the guidance of Ajarn Sean and hopes one day to teach.
